"Fake Gurus" are Not Just News...

"Fake Gurus" are not just news... It's a painful pattern.

Today, such news surfaces again... Names change, cities change... But the stories remain the same.

And each time, the same question comes to mind: Why does this keep happening?

Why do people get trapped?

1️⃣ Fear of Uncertainty Health, relationships, future... When nothing feels in our control, people search for support somewhere, and turn to where they feel they'll find "definite answers."

2️⃣ Expectation of Quick Solutions Long efforts, time, process... All this seems difficult. So, "immediate solutions" feel very attractive. Hope arises that someone will tell them something, and everything will be alright.

3️⃣ Emotionally Vulnerable Moments Sickness, stress, loneliness... These words are simple, but the experience is deep. At such times, decisions are not made with thought, but with emotion.

4️⃣ Misuse of Trust It always starts with help. Someone listens, understands, and that's where trust is built.

But sometimes, this very trust slowly turns into dependence... and then escalates to exploitation, manipulation, and even blackmailing.

5️⃣ Deep societal issues also exist. Mental support is lacking. Communication in families is decreasing. Loneliness is increasing, unseen but felt.

Trust in the system often wavers. Justice is delayed, sometimes never received.

Proper guidance is not easily available, and the habit of asking questions is also diminishing.

All this makes a person restless from within... And in such a state, when someone shows a "path," they are drawn to it.

6️⃣ Internal Comparison and Restlessness Sometimes, comparison with others, the feeling of falling behind, creates an internal pressure of "something needs to change quickly." And that's where shortcut paths start to seem attractive.

This is not just a mistake... It's a complex entanglement of circumstances, emotions, and trust.

Perhaps there are other reasons... which I haven't written here.

From your experience or observation, what other reasons do you think exist? Do share.

Perhaps through such discussions, we can understand this pattern a little better.

Until these things are understood... the stories will change, but the pain will remain the same.
