Morning Sunlight = Good Sleep

Morning sunlight = Good sleep.

This is the easiest, safest, and most overlooked way to improve sleep.

Many people believe that morning sunlight is only for Vitamin D.

What exactly does morning sunlight do to the brain?

1. **Body Clock Resets** Morning light sends a clear message to the brain: "The day has begun." This straightens the body's clock (circadian rhythm).

2. **Serotonin Increases (Stress relief hormone)** Morning light increases serotonin in the brain. Serotonin calms the mind and reduces irritability and anxiety.

3. **Serotonin → Melatonin (Sleep hormone)** Serotonin produced during the day is used to make melatonin at night. This means: Morning light = Good sleep at night. This is pure biology, not just beliefs.

So why specifically 6–8 AM? Because during this time: * The light is sufficient. * UVB is not important. * The brain's "master clock" is activated properly.

Light is important for sleep, not Vitamin D. (The time for Vitamin D is different, 9 AM onwards).

Its indirect but significant benefit:

When sleep is good: * Sugar control improves. * BP fluctuations decrease. * There's a positive effect on weight, fatigue, and mood.

This means: Improved sleep = improved metabolism.

For whom is this most important? * For those with Diabetes / BP. * For seniors (whose sleep patterns are often reversed). * For those with stress, fatigue, weight gain. * For those who feel "reports are normal but something isn't right."

How to do it? * In the morning, 6–8 AM. * For 15–20 minutes. * While walking / on the balcony / in an open space. * Without glasses, safely.

Remember: This timing is not for Vitamin D. It is for sleep and the body clock.

Morning light → Good sleep at night → Healthy life
