Relationships Don't Break, But Health Can Decline

Just For Hearts2 min read

Relationships do not break easily, but health often deteriorates!

No matter the relationship—whether husband-wife, parent-child, or in-laws—these bonds may seem intact, but the stress and pressure within them can deeply affect both body and mind, leading to illness.

These issues are often not discussed openly, so solutions remain elusive.

How does a stressful relationship impact health?

1. Increased BP and heart disease Constant conflict causes ongoing mental stress, leading to uncontrolled BP and abnormal ECG results.

2. Sugar spikes and uncontrolled diabetes Elevated cortisol disrupts eating habits and daily routines.

3. Depression, anxiety, and fear of the future Loss of self-confidence, growing despair, and persistent fear that something bad will happen.

4. Poor sleep and increased fatigue Continuous worrying, guilt, and arguments prevent restful sleep.

5. Parenting challenges and guilt Arguments and lack of peace in front of children cause guilt and frustration.

6. Reduced libido and relationship intimacy Anger and resentment reduce physical intimacy.

7. Long-term body pain (psychosomatic issues) Back pain, stomach knots, hair loss, and acidity are all effects of chronic stress.

8. Mental impact on children Increased crying, withdrawal, and loss of interest in studies.

9. Court cases and police complaints cause PTSD Unnecessary legal battles cause severe stress, humiliation, and social isolation.

10. Elderly parents suffer anxiety, BP issues, and depression Their sleep, appetite, and medication routines are disturbed due to their child's troubles.

What is the solution? - Couples and family therapy (available both online and offline) - Visit a therapist as soon as you visit a doctor - Practice yoga, meditation, exercise, and self-awareness - Make necessary decisions without waiting for health to deteriorate

From years of experience, I can say that lifestyle diseases often begin not in the body but in relationships!
