Why do heart attacks occur even with low blockage?

The answer: Inflammation in blood vessels.

The reason is not just blockage, but the nature (stability) of the plaque, which is determined by vascular inflammation.

1. Where does it start? (Root cause)

The endothelium (the inner protective layer) is the inner lining of blood vessels. Sugar, high BP, smoking, and stress damage it. Nitric Oxide (a component that keeps blood vessels relaxed) decreases. This is where inflammation begins.

2. How does plaque form then?

LDL Cholesterol accumulates there. The body perceives it as an injury. Immune Cells gather. A fatty streak forms, leading to plaque.

3. Unstable Plaque is the real danger.

Not all plaque is the same. Some are stable (firm), some are unstable / vulnerable (fragile). If inflammation is high, the plaque becomes fragile.

4. How does a Heart Attack happen?

The fragile plaque ruptures (plaque rupture). A clot forms. Blood flow suddenly stops, leading to a Heart Attack / Stroke. Therefore, low blockage + high inflammation = higher risk.

5. Why are Young Heart Attacks increasing?

Nowadays, among youth, sugar spikes, stress, and lack of sleep lead to more inflammation. Blockage is often low, but the plaque is unstable, which is why sudden attacks occur.

6. What happens if inflammation is reduced?

* Plaque becomes stable. * The risk of rupture decreases. * New plaque formation reduces. This is the real protection.

7. Now, the main point – how to reduce vessel inflammation?

✅ Sugar Control High Glucose → Endothelial Damage. HbA1c Control = Vessel Protection.

✅ BP Control High Pressure = constant Injury. BP Stable = reduced Inflammation.

✅ Stop Smoking Nitric Oxide decreases. Direct Endothelial Damage.

✅ Walking / Activity Endothelium Function improves. Nitric Oxide increases.

✅ Sleep Repair Process becomes active. Inflammation decreases.

✅ Stress Control Cortisol increases → Inflammation increases. Plaque Instability increases.

✅ Anti-inflammatory Lifestyle Gut Health, Meal Timing, Natural Food (we will discuss this in detail later).

✅ Medicines (Doctor Guided) Statins not only reduce Cholesterol but also reduce Inflammation. They stabilize Plaque.

✅ Erectile Dysfunction (an important indicator) Problems in small Blood Vessels appear first. This can be a symptom of early Vascular Inflammation.

8. Markers (How is Inflammation measured?)

* hsCRP (High Sensitivity CRP) * Homocysteine

If these numbers are elevated, it indicates Vascular Inflammation.

9. “Can Blockage be reversed?”

Not completely, but it can be stabilized. Also, rupture can be avoided; this is the real solution.

A Heart Attack doesn't happen suddenly… it's the result of years of inflammation.

In your opinion, what is most important to prevent a Heart Attack?

🔥 Inflammation Control 🍔 Cholesterol Control 🚶 Lifestyle Changes 🤔 Don't know

From today, change your thinking: not 'How much blockage?', but 'How much inflammation?' is important.
