Why is Metabolism Deteriorating Before 40?

Why is Metabolism deteriorating before 40?

1. **Early sedentary life** Screen time has increased since school and college. Muscles are not used properly, leading to early Insulin Resistance.

2. **Sleep rhythm gets disturbed in the twenties itself** Late nights, mobile phones, work stress. When sleep is reduced, Hormones, Sugar Control, and Appetite all get disrupted.

3. **More processed food, less real food (Ultra-processed foods)** Less home-cooked food, more ready-to-eat. These foods confuse Metabolism and overload the body without providing nutrition.

4. **Stress increased, but no outlet** Earlier, stress used to be relieved by physical work. Today, stress is mental, the body doesn't move, and Fat starts accumulating.

5. **Low NEAT (Non-exercise activity) throughout the day** Gym is only for 30 minutes. If the remaining 23 hours are spent sitting, Metabolism slows down.

6. **Habit of frequent eating** Eating something even when not hungry. Insulin remains constantly high, and the Metabolic Rhythm gets disturbed.

7. **Metabolic dysfunction even without Weight gain** People who appear thin can also be Insulin Resistant. Weight is not the only criterion; Metabolism deteriorates internally.

8. **Reports change late, the body gives signals first** Fatigue, Weight around the waist, and Sugar Swings are early Metabolic warnings; reports change later.

Briefly, early signals of deteriorating Metabolism:

9. **Weight doesn't increase much, but belly Fat increases** This is not due to "age." This is a sign that Metabolism has gone into Fat-storage mode.

10. **Fatigue even after waking up in the morning, low Energy during the day** Even after getting enough sleep, there's no freshness. This means the body is not producing Energy properly.

11. **Fasting Sugar is fine, but it rises quickly after meals** This is the initial stage of Insulin Resistance. Reports change later, the body tells you first.

Today, Metabolism doesn't deteriorate "fast." Rather, it starts deteriorating early. And that's why diseases are appearing earlier today.
