Blood Pressure
What To Do When Your BP Is High Daily Despite Medication?
If your Blood Pressure (BP) is high every day even though you are taking medication, here are some practical steps you can try:
1. Immediately after waking up, drink 2 glasses of warm water along with a handful of soaked apple pieces. This helps flush out sodium, increases potassium, and brings BP under control faster.
2. Instead of using your mobile phone, lie down with your legs up against the wall for 5 minutes and focus on deep breathing. This pose improves venous return, calms the mind, and helps regulate BP.
3. One hour before sleep, turn off your mobile phone, reduce noise, and dim the lights. Getting deep sleep reduces BP fluctuations.
These simple lifestyle changes complement your medication and support better BP control. Remember, BP is not just about the heart but also involves the brain and nervous system.
Keep practicing these steps and observe the improvements. Share your experience and stay connected for more tips.
