Diabetes is not just about the sugar number; it is the daily wear and tear on your body!

What are sugar spikes? 1. It is normal for sugar to rise after a meal, but it should come down in time. 2. A spike means a sudden, high, and prolonged increase in sugar levels, for example, from 90 mg/dL to 220 mg/dL repeatedly, which is definitely dangerous!

What damage do sugar spikes cause to the body? 1. Micro vessels break down affecting eyes, kidneys, brain, and legs. 2. High sugar in blood reduces circulation flow, making blood thicker, slowing flow in small vessels, and increasing strain on the heart. 3. Nervous system damage causing numbness and burning sensations in hands and feet. 4. Increased inflammation gradually raises the risk of heart disease and stroke. 5. Fatigue and mental instability - loss of work mood. 6. Kidney function declines with protein leaking in urine.

When do sugar spikes start? - HbA1c > 6.5 indicates risk begins. - Post-meal sugar > 180 indicates damage starts. - 2–3 spikes a day cause chronic damage.

Your body constantly gives these signals, pay attention! - Fatigue despite high sugar. - Sudden palpitations or sweating. - Darkening or blurred vision. - Mood changes and irritability.

3 simple habits to control sugar: 1. Eat Fiber before Carbs. 2. Walk 15–30 minutes, at least once after meals. 3. Reduce sweets, use smart substitutes.

Remember: "High blood sugar means inflammation and wear inside your heart. Whether to stop it or let it continue is in your hands!"
