Dreams Are Like Your Brain's WhatsApp Turning On
Think of dreaming as your brain's WhatsApp turning on during sleep.
Understanding why we dream is not just about what happens during sleep; it’s the story of sleep itself!
Do you also experience dreams like these? - Dreaming you forgot your exam paper for a board exam? - Running on an escalator but not moving up? - Someone chasing you but you can’t reach your destination?
Though these dreams may seem random, they are actually relevant!
Sleep has two parts:
1. NREM: The body is in 'Mute' mode doing repair work - Hormone balance - Strengthening immunity - Controlling sugar and Blood Pressure
2. REM: 'Theatre Mode' starts, the show of dreams! - Brain edits photos and videos - Collects unfinished thoughts and suppressed stress - Honestly, even when we sleep, the brain is not completely at rest!
From a medical perspective: - People who dream of choking or being unable to make sounds during sleep may have Obstructive Sleep Apnea - Frequent failure or chasing dreams may indicate Anxiety disorders
Sleep is not just rest; it’s a brain cleaning mission! If you carefully read the memos in your dreams, you can improve your health.
What was your last strange dream? Did you understand it? Or are you still waiting for 'Part 2'?
Comment below, because sometimes the confusion in dreams is the first sign of sleep health issues.
