Fatty Liver? Report Says So But Not Sure What To Do?

Fatty Liver? The report says so but you are not sure what exactly to do?

Let's understand it step by step:

1. Fatty Liver means fat accumulation in the liver. 2. It occurs due to pregnancy, Diabetes, obesity, high Cholesterol, and Insulin resistance. 3. Many people have Non-Alcoholic Fatty Liver even without drinking alcohol. 4. Symptoms are usually mild but can include fatigue, indigestion, and bloating. 5. Diagnosis is done through SGPT, SGOT tests and Ultrasound or FibroScan. 6. If ignored, the liver can get damaged leading to Cirrhosis. 7. There is no medicine; diet, exercise, and weight loss are the main treatments. 8. Avoid maida, sugar, and oily foods. Choose whole foods instead. 9. Losing 5–10% of body weight reduces fat in the liver. 10. If SGPT is elevated, consult a doctor without delay.

Fatty Liver can be reversed and cured. Lifestyle changes will be discussed in upcoming posts.
