Are You Over 35? Here's How to Check Your Heart Disease Risk
If you are over 35 years old and feel no symptoms, it is still important to check if you have a risk of heart disease.
Here is a Heart Screening Checklist to help you assess your heart health:
1. Blood Pressure (BP) & Pulse 2. ECG (Electrocardiogram) 3. Lipid Profile 4. Blood Sugar + HbA1c 5. 2D Echo (Echocardiogram) 6. TMT (Treadmill Test) 7. ApoB / Lp(a) levels 8. hs-CRP (high sensitivity C-Reactive Protein) 9. CT Calcium Score
It is recommended to do blood tests every year, heart function tests every 2 years, and blood vessel scans every 5 years.
Remember, you cannot improve what you do not measure. If you do not get tested, how will you improve?
Do not wait for symptoms to appear. Prevention is the best solution.
