Too Much Joy Can Affect Your ECG!

"Too much joy can affect your ECG!"

Joy is like medicine, but in excess, it can also act as a trigger.

As a cardiologist, I want to say that "excessive excitement and excessive joy" can also be harmful to the heart.

What does science say? - Joy is a form of positive stress. - It causes a surge of Dopamine and Adrenaline. - Blood Pressure rises, Heart Rate increases, and ECG changes. - Patients with Heart Failure or those who have undergone bypass surgery cannot tolerate this well.

Some examples of "excessive joy being dangerous": 1. A bypass patient suddenly experienced breathlessness while dancing at a wedding and was admitted to ICU. 2. During a trade event, heartbeats increased so much that fainting spells occurred. 3. At a surprise party, arrhythmia was detected on ECG, leading to an emergency. 4. Chest pain and ECG changes occurred while watching a laughter competition. 5. ECG abnormalities appeared while buying gold. 6. Sudden praise from mother-in-law caused breathlessness, continuous sweating, and abnormal ECG. 7. Eating shrikhand puri in the evening and taking Viagra at night led to ICU admission in the early morning.

What should you do? Enjoy joy in moderation!

1. Enjoy happiness but recognize your body's signals like chest palpitations, breathlessness, and discomfort. 2. Patients with existing heart disease, those who have had bypass or angioplasty, or uncontrolled diabetes should avoid excessive excitement. 3. Use meditation, deep breathing, and light walking even during festivals. 4. If you notice ECG changes, palpitations, or breathlessness, consult a doctor immediately. 5. Celebrate festivals, laugh, and enjoy, but within your capacity!

My experience tells me... Heart attacks can come not only from sorrow but also from excitement! Therefore, "Enjoy joy with your heart, but celebrate with wisdom!"

Eat sweets, stay with people, but also take care of your heart.
